We had a wonderful two night stay at this lovely hotel. Immaculately clean. Very friendly staff and superb breakfasts, cooked perfectly. We would highly recommend.
Lovely independent boutique hotel in Congleton with excellent front of house service. Room was nicely appointed, warm and had a comfy bed. The ensuite was ok, the sink doesn't have a mixer tap so need to be careful as the hot tap water comes out at a scolding temperature. The shower water pressure is great; the tray is wide but narrow in depth which would be ok, however the shower bar and riser are mounted in a way that cause some obstruction when you're in the cubicle.This may just be a quirk in the room I stayed in. The cooked breakfast was delicious with perfectly served poached eggs. There is very limited gluten free options with the muesli/cereals. There was plenty of off street parking. Definitely recommend this hotel.
Very relaxing business stay in standard Room. Free parking. Fabulous cooked breakfast! Beautiful old building with some history no doubt. Would stay again, recommend. Shame they don’t do evening meals anymore but there is a decent gastro pub a 10min walk away, more eateries in Congleton.
Receptionist was super helpful at check in. Everything explained well. Very clean. Everything you'd want from a room. Car parking was perfect. Breakfast was also great. Tesco express open til late was 1 min walk away. Overall a top place to stay.
Fabulous hotel, amazing decor. Fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble! Gardens really well cared for. Great breakfast. Would highly recommend, hope to get to stay again in the future. X
Husband and myself ate there last night. The meal was excellent — every dish was cooked perfectly full of flavour, and presented well. The service was efficient and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The place is lovely, bright and clean. A definite 10/10!" We will be back.
Once again the Alexandra Court produces a fabulous experience. Over the years we have held many family get togethers there. The food and service is wonderful and so caring. I recommend it without reservation. Malcolm Sapsford
We have just had afternoon tea today, and what a lovely experience from been greeted by katie and Marcio. A truly relaxing laid back atmosphere comfy warm and cosy. Superb food from Andy who worked at Claridges. Fully recommend it to anyone. We had a 3pm last sitting and was beautiful and quiet. Thankyou to the team.
